Junction Selected as Equity Partner for New Industrial Distribution Center in Northwest Houston
(HOUSTON, TEXAS — MAY 2024) Junction Commercial Real Estate, a full-service commercial real estate firm specializing in brokerage, development, project management and investment management, is pleased to announce the acquisition of a ± 16.51 acre tract in infill Northwest Houston. The property was acquired in a strategic joint partnership between Provident Realty Advisors and Junction Capital, Junction’s Private Equity Division, for the immediate development of a new industrial distribution center, Northcourt 290 Distribution Center. The acquisition marks Junction & Provident’s fourth joint-venture deal in the past calendar year, partnering on 7 buildings, totaling over 2 million square feet of industrial distribution development product in the Houston market.
Northcourt 290 Distribution Center will be located at 8020 Northcourt Road, near the intersection of US Highway 290 and Hollister Road. The development will feature a ± 244,500-square-foot Class-A, front-load distribution building with a 32’ clear height, 48 dock-high doors, 64 trailer parks, and a 180’ truck-court. The project is projected to deliver Q2 2025.
