Junction Announces the Acquisition of Urban Co. Real Estate
(HOUSTON, TEXAS – DECEMBER 2024) Junction Commercial Real Estate, a full-service commercial real estate firm, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Urban Co. Real Estate a Houston area land brokerage company. This strategic move will allow Junction to hold a greater share of the land brokerage market in Houston, Texas. Along with the acquisition, Junction adds to the firm one of the top land teams in Houston that includes JP Hayes and Kristen Lowry.
JP Hayes, formerly of Urban Co. Real Estate, is now a Partner in Junction Commercial Real Estate’s brokerage division. Hayes is a graduate of Mercer University in Atlanta, GA with a bachelor’s in business administration. Over the past 5 years, he has been responsible for over $300 million in total transaction volume across Houston.
“Joining Junction is a natural fit and great opportunity to continue providing high quality service to each client we represent in the marketplace. My goal is to continue to build the brand and reputation of Junction in the marketplace,” said Hayes.
At Junction, Hayes will specialize in urban and suburban land sales for all buyer and seller types. Additionally, he will oversee the full transaction process from valuation, pricing strategies, marketing, and client communication, to negotiations of the purchase and sale agreement through deal funding. Prior to co-founding Urban Co. Real Estate, JP was a Senior Vice President with Dosch Marshall Real Estate (DMRE), where he was a top producer.
Kristen Lowry, a graduate of Texas Tech University, joins Junction as the Executive Administrator. At Junction, she will be responsible for the database and process management across Junction’s brokerage teams. Prior to joining Junction, Kristen worked at Urban Co. Real Estate as an Operation Manager, specializing in transaction management, process and systems implementation, as well as brokerage and compliance support. Her support was pivotal to the growth of this company due to the success of the database and systems management that were implemented.
