JP Hayes

JP Hayes is a Brokerage Partner at Junction, specializing in urban and suburban development land sales for a wide range of buyers and sellers, including some of the nation’s most prominent industrial and multifamily developers. Widely recognized as one of Houston’s top land brokers, JP brings nearly two decades of experience in commercial real estate, with a focus on sourcing and executing large-scale land transactions for institutional, private, and developer clients.

Before joining Junction, JP co-founded Urban Co. Real Estate, where he led more than $100 million in transaction volume in just four years, overseeing complex land acquisitions and high-profile redevelopment projects across Texas. In 2024, he joined Junction to further elevate the firm’s top five Houston land team. Since then, JP has leveraged his expertise in large-scale industrial, multifamily, and urban redevelopment deals to expand the firm’s footprint in Houston’s most competitive growth corridors.

Over the course of his career, JP has brokered more than $375 million in land transactions, including sourcing land for Provident Realty’s Imperial Valley, a two-building Class A, 378,481-square-foot industrial distribution park North Houston and Venterra Realty’s 384-unit multi-family community in Cypress, Texas. JP’s ability to transact complex and competitive deals and anticipate market shifts has positioned him as a trusted advisor in Houston’s rapidly evolving land market.

JP has been married to his wife Kelly since 2013, and they have two children together. They are members at Second Baptist Church, and enjoy family time, travel, being outdoors, playing golf, biking, hiking and watching college football.
