About Junction & The Role
The Associate of Professional Development position is designed as an entry-level introduction to commercial real estate. The goal of the program is to accelerate the growth of top candidates looking to eventually transition into independent Sales Agent roles at Junction Commercial Real Estate. Associates of Professional Development will be matched with a mentor best suited to develop his/her interest in one or all of commercial real estate asset divisions.

Essential Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
• Secure a real estate salesperson’s license with the State of Texas
• Provide transaction support to assigned mentor and senior brokerage team, such as detailed reporting, canvassing, marketing, and analysis
• Participate in and lead property tours, as directed
• Develop, enhance and leverage knowledge of the local economy and real estate markets, including acquiring timely, accurate information about listed properties, tenants in the market and market trends
• Assist in the development of Junction Commercial Real Estate Interns

• Currently enrolled at a local four-year University (or recently graduated)
• Ability to work 30-hours per week during the academic year
• Reliable transportation
• Exceptional academic achievement (please include overall GPA on resume)
• Strong interest in brokerage, development, or investment sales within commercial real estate
• Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
• Self-motivated, diligent, outstanding communication skills
• Real estate salesperson’s license with the State of Texas preferred by not required

The Position
The Investment Analyst will report to the Junction Managing Partner of Private Equity in Houston, Texas and will assist with various aspects of the investment and development process, including, but not limited to, analyzing potential investment opportunities, performing market analysis, creating and managing models, performing due diligence, networking with other real estate professionals, and ongoing asset management of existing real estate transactions. The Investment Analyst will perform duties related to the roles of acquisitions, development, and asset management while working under the mentorship of the Private Equity division at Junction Commercial Real Estate.

Primary duties for the Investment Analyst position include:
• Prepare and manage complex financial models for real estate investment and development deals and opportunities
• Perform, compile, analyze, and present market research
• Join property tours
• Interact with various market participants on due diligence items
• Review and manage due diligence reports and deal data rooms
• Provide support to the Managing Partner of Private Equity on a day-to-day basis
• Assist in the preparation of investor reports
• Perform other related duties and assignments, as delegated

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a business-related field of study
• Exceptional academic achievement (please include overall GPA on resume)
• Strong interest in brokerage, development, or investments within commercial real estate
• Ability to think critically and creatively
• Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Office Suite (the position will be Excel heavy)
• Self-motivated, diligent, and outstanding communication skills
• Ability to handle an atmosphere that is at times stressful or high pressured
• Reliable transportation

Essential Responsibilities
Primary duties for the Associate Commercial Real Estate Broker position include:

• Research property ownership records, market day, and industry trends
• Prospect new and nurture existing client relationships
• Attend local networking and industry events•Produce and present marketing proposals to clients
• Negotiate exclusive listing agreements
• Market listings to potential buyers and negotiate offers
• Advise clients regarding their real estate investment strategies and goals
