The Role
The Investment Analyst Intern will report to the Junction Managing Partner of Private Equity in Houston, Texas and will assist with various aspects of the investment and development process, including, but not limited to, analyzing potential investment opportunities, performing market analysis, creating and managing models, performing due diligence, networking with other real estate professionals, and ongoing asset management of existing real estate transactions. By the end of the program, the Investment Analyst Intern will have gained valuable skills in acquisition, development, and asset management roles while working under the mentorship of the Private Equity division at Junction Commercial Real Estate.

Responsibilities
Primary duties for the Investment Analyst Intern position include:
• Prepare and manage complex financial models for real estate investment and development deals and opportunities
• Perform, compile, analyze, and present market research
• Join property tours
• Interact with various market participants on due diligence items
• Review and manage due diligence reports and deal data rooms
• Provide support to the Managing Partner of Private Equity on a day-to-day basis
• Assist in the preparation of investor reports
• Perform other related duties and assignments, as delegated

Qualifications
• Currently enrolled at a local four-year University (or recently graduated)
• Exceptional academic achievement (please include overall GPA on resume)
• Strong interest in brokerage, development, or investment sales within commercial real estate
• Ability to think critically and creatively
• Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Office Suite (the position will be Excel heavy)
• Self-motivated, diligent, and outstanding communication skills
• Ability to handle an atmosphere that is at times stressful or high pressured
• Reliable transportation
